Our next IROC meeting will be Thursday, September 18th at 11:30 a.m.
Main Characteristics of Independent Rental Owners (IRO) n They have their own money invested in the property. I.R.O.C. programs and seminars are conducted specifically for independent rental property owners with less than 100 units. Smaller properties generally require a unique property management style, as opposed to the management style used for properties of larger sizes that can afford full-time management. n They have other, full-time jobs.
n They work alone, with no (or few) employees.
n Their subcontractors and vendors are very important to them.
n They may have several types of properties, sometimes spread out geographically.
n The time they can spend on their rental properties is limited.
n They have little time to spend on Association activities and training, so the training must provide direct and immediate value.
