How long have they been active in the multifamily industry? Ever worked on the owner/management side?

I began my career in the multifamily industry in 2007 onsite as a leasing/sales consultant and worked for 4 different management companies (Milestone, Village Green, Michelson Realty, and Price Brothers) in various roles at both garden style and midrise buildings.  In 2014, I transitioned to a supplier role.  I joined WASH Multifamily Laundry in September 2016.

How long have you served on the M-Team?

I have served on this committee for three years, and it is first committee I joined since my transition to the supplier role.  The membership committee holds a special place in my heart because when I joined it helped me to get plugged in and learn the value of being active in the association.  I want to pay it forward to all the new members who join AAGD.

Who do you sell to? Who is your customer?

WASH provides laundry equipment for laundry rooms, and in-unit rentals.  Our clients are multifamily owners and management companies.  WASH has operations in 20 US States and all Canadian Provinces.  We recently expanded to Dallas this year.

What committees are you currently serving on with AAGD?

AAGD – Membership (M-Team), Education, PSC, Community Service, Special Events, Toys for Tots
AATC – Membership, Career Development (Education), PSC, Community Service, Government Affairs, Toys for Tots

Why do you work in this industry? What keeps you passionate about it?

I want to work in an environment that inspires, motivates, challenges,  fulfills, and pushes me to give my best both personally and professionally.  This industry does all of that and more. The multifamily industry is relationship driven, fast paced, different every day, and will give you the opportunity to gain a second family.  I joined this industry with no idea that I would have such a blessed journey thus far. Each year, I look back and take note of all the ways I have grown and all of the ways I need to improve.   I am so thankful that I have had the right leaders to guide me along the way (ones that were aware, and some not) and am more than happy to share the value of the association(s).
