Education Foundation Scholarships

The AAGD Education Foundation was founded in 1995 and is a registered 501 (c) (3) charity organization whose mission is to make AAGD a premier source of education for its membership and the apartment industry.  The mission includes goals of providing scholarships for students, faculty training and the research, development, production and marketing of education programs.

The Foundation currently offers the Donna Derden Scholarship which provides financial aid to those professionals that have shown their commitment to our industry and are seeking to advance their knowledge and career by earning their NAAEI Industry Credentials; CAPS, CAM, NALP, CAMT or CAS.

The Foundation’s newest opportunty is the Gerry Henigsman U.S. Military Veteran Scholarship. This is a scholarship awarded to a retired or honorably dischared military veteran who is a current industry professional looking to earn their credentials.

Each year scholarship winners will be selected by committee and announced at the annual DFW Education Conference. We would like to thank all of you who support our Education Platform and all of our valuable sponsors for the DFW Education Conference.
