Class Description:
This is what managers need to know about HVAC maintenance!  HVAC problems can be very hazardous & strain relationships with your residents. By understanding and keeping up with proper HVAC maintenance you will be able to prevent breakdowns, reduce the risk of emergency repairs, & extend the life of your equipment. 

In this class you will learn:

• Current laws & regulations that affect your property.
• DOE (Department of Energy) Regulations and how they affect our operations
• Steps to better execute your internal practices
• Troubleshoot most common HVAC on-site issues for office staff
• Discuss best practices for on-site managers to better understand their operations

About the Instructor:

Kourtney started her career in the warehouse of an air conditioning contractor 15 years ago and then worked her way up to eventually run the business. After realizing the opportunity for personal growth and challenge was on the distributor side of the industry she switched. Having the clear picture of all aspects of the business has helped her understand the challenges of customers and business. She has covered it all from call centers, marketing, managing facilities, warehouses, and outside sales. Kourtney currently leads the team of 8 and faces many aspects of the air conditioning industry daily. Meeting new people and finding ways to help them with their situations and helping solve problems based on her experience is most satisfying.            

About the Instructor:
Tonya Lambert, NATE, Technical Service Advisor, Century HVAC Distributing

Tonya is a NATE Certified Technician with 35 years of experience in the HVAC Service Industry. Her current position is Technical Service Advisor for Century HVAC Distributing.  She provides HVAC training & Manufacturer technical support by phone or field site visits for Commercial, Residential equipment to include Duct Free Systems, Mini VRF and Manufactured Housing Equipment.   She started in the Multi-Family Industry in 1984, then went to work as a Service Technician for an Air Conditioning Contractor.  Additionally, she has 10 years of experience developing and conducting HVAC Technical Training classes.
