The Texas Apartment Association's professional awards recognize the hard work and contributions of industry professionals who work toward growth and development of their apartment associations and the community.

Each year, the National Apartment Association recognizes the distinguished efforts of builders, individual professionals and affiliated apartment associations and the unique contributions that they make to the multifamily housing industry through NAA's national awards program—the EXCELLENCE AWARDS

Award Categories

NALP (National Apartment Leasing Professional) of the Year

CAM (Certified Apartment Manager) of the Year

CAMT (Certificate for Apartment Maintenance Technician) of the Year

Professional Credentia-Holder of the Year (may work at multiple apartment communities or as regional or corporate employees)

The winner of the award will receive a beautiful award, be highlighted in a story in NAA's UNITS Magazine and win a trip to the National Education Conference in June to accept their award.

AAGD Anthony Pusateri Legends Of Education Award

Legends of EducationThe AAGD Anthony Pusateri “Legends of Education” Award honors outstanding members, who exemplify high standards and a strong belief of the importance of education in the success of our industry.

To be chosen as a “Legend of Education” is a great honor reserved for those AAGD members who have gone above and beyond the call of duty. They strive for excellence and serve the association participating actively and contributing to the development of engaged programs that will benefit the professionals in the multi-housing industry. Below are the candidate requirements for nomination to the AAGD Anthony Pusateri “Legends of Education” Award:

The deadline for submission of nominations is April 30th.

  • Must be an AAGD member in good standing.

  • Must have a minimum of 10 years of active involvement with an ongoing contribution to the development of our industry's education and career development platform. 

    Such contributions could include efforts on a local, state and national level, participation on committees, chair of committees, instructing courses and seminars.

  • Inspires others to become involved in educational and credential programs and encourages them to advance into industry leadership roles.

  • Legend of Education Nominee's are selected by the Education Committee and will then be reviewed by a Legends of Education Panel and Education Committee Chair.
