Single-family rental program community meetings

Dallas – The City of Dallas Code Compliance Department is hosting a series of community meetings beginning in late October through November to receive community feedback on a series of proposed revisions on minimum property standards. The revisions were based on six community meetings held in August to hear feedback on the Single-Family Rental Program. The Single-Family Rental Program began on Jan. 1, 2017.

“The City is committed to ensuring Dallas residents have a voice in how the City updates its property standards,” said Nadia Chandler-Hardy, Assistant City Manager & Chief Resilience Officer, “All are welcome to participate and share feedback with the Code Compliance Department,”

The main purpose of the meetings is to streamline the Single-Family Rental Registration process to be customer-friendly and efficient.
