The Evolution of "Professional
with IGNITER Marci French
Session Description:
Remember when women were required to wear nylons with their skirt? Or men were required to wear a tie with their suit jacket? Times have changed and so have the dress code violations that were once deemed so offensive. For the first time in history, we have five generations in the workplace. Organizations are reassessing, and the younger generation is challenging, what professional really looks like. As a result, the idea of "professional" continues to evolve. What does it look like to you?
During this session attendees will learn:
- How to identify which dress code policies are important to your organization
- How to decide when to challenge the status quo
- How to reflect on positive outcomes to evolving policies
