CLASS DESCRIPTION
Learn the necessary skills to perform HVAC Preventive Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and Repair. This informative session will provide a review of refrigeration cycle theory and the effects of pressure & temperature in regards to the refrigerant circuit. You will also better understand superheat and subcooling and how to use diagnostic tools for each.
In this class you will learn:
- Refrigeration cycle theory
- What charging method to use (superheat / subcool)
- How to measure superheat and subcool
- Proper recovery and evacuation methods
- Brazing best practices
- How to properly charge with refrigerant blends
Tonya is a NATE Certified Technician with 35 years of experience in the HVAC Service Industry. She provides HVAC training & Manufacturer technical support by phone or field site visits for Commercial, Residential equipment to include Duct Free Systems, Mini VRF and Manufactured Housing Equipment. She started in the Multi-Family Industry in 1984, then went to work as a Service Technician for an Air Conditioning Contractor. Additionally, she has 10 years of experience developing and conducting HVAC Technical Training classes

Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the AAGD Education Department at least 24 hours prior to class. Written confirmation from the Education Department will be sent via e-mail. Substitutions are allowed, but ALL NO SHOWS WILL BE BILLED WITHOUT EXCEPTION. By registering for this program, you agree that you have read and understood the cancellation policy.
