The AAGD Government Affairs Department serves as a local liaison for the legislative programs conducted by the Texas Apartment Association and the National Apartment Association. Our team also maintains its own Political Action Committee that contributes to local, county, state, and federal level candidates who represent and advocate for the rental housing industry.

Jason has served on staff at AAGD since 2015. As Vice President of Government Affairs, he directs all federal, state, and local advocacy efforts in addition to overseeing all fundraising and strategy for the AAGD PAC.
Prior to joining AAGD, he held positions with four members of Congress, a prominent North Texas chamber of commerce, and a global public relations company. Jason earned a B.S. from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth and completed his law degree at the University of Tulsa College of Law in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
