*students must attend all program days to be eligible to take the credential exam.
PAYMENT DEADLINE
Payments must received and posted no later than May 28, 2025. If payment has not been received by this date, your registration will be canceled.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS & MATERIALS
To obtain the CAM credential, candidates must complete the following:
- IMPORTANT: This program assumes that attendees have experience as a Property Manager with a working knowledge of budgets and financials.
- Students must have worked in the apartment industry for at least 12-months (can be obtained while taking the course).
- You must successfully complete the CAM Designation Program.
- Pass the CAM examination within 6 months of declaring candidacy.
Program Materials:
Materials will be delivered electronically prior to the first day of class. Once a candidate receives their eBook, they will have the opportunity to purchase a physical copy of the book if preferred.
ABOUT ANITA HORD
Anita Hord has been in the multi-family industry for over 35 years, starting her career in Denton while attending the University of North Texas. She is currently the Executive Vice President for LUMA Residential here in Dallas. Anita has a passion for elevating and developing top talent through mentoring and training. In 2018 Anita became a NAAEI Faculty member and has taught classes on Leadership, Team Building, Fair Housing, CAM, and is a certified instructor of True Colors®. She is the recipient of several awards, including the prestigious AATC Lone Star Award for Supervisor of the Year, was the AATC Member of the Year in 2014, and in 2018, she was honored to be inducted as a member of the AAGD Legends of Education. Anita holds the NCCP designation from the Housing Credit College, CAM from the National Apartment Association, is a graduate of the AATC and AAGD Leadership Lyceum programs, and has previously served on the Board of Directors for both AATC and AAGD.

You must be logged into your individual account to unlock Member or Apartment Academy rates and the invoice payment option. Non-members will receive the non-member rate and be required to submit immediate payment with a credit card.
Confirmation e-mails will be sent when registration is completed, but are not guaranteed to be sent due to incorrect emails, security filters, etc.
By registering for this event, you acknowledge that any photos or videos taken of you at the event can be used by AAGD in future publications, flyers, promos, web/social media postings, videos and other media concerning the event, without compensation to you.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation must be received in writing and approved by the AAGD Education Department no later than May 28, 2025. Important: keep your cancellation approval e-mail for your records. If a cancellation is not received by the deadline but before the start of the program, you are responsible for a one-time, non-refundable $150 fee for restocking. No shows will be billed without exception. Student substitutions will be accepted until 72 hours before the class begins.
