 NEXTGEN Committee Service Day - July 26

Open Only for NextGen Committee Members.

Help us serve our communities at  Metrocrest Services Client Choice Pantry.

We start the day at 8 AM with a quick huddle to inform volunteers where assistance is needed and what tasks they’ll be responsible for that day.  Tasks may include answering client questions, helping stock shelves, clean, organize produce and/or dairy in walk-in cooler, loading food into client vehicles, etc.  

Description

This is an indoor activity and has contact with clients. Volunteers will help to feed our neighbors in need in our client choice food pantry by assisting client’s check-in, restock/load, and check-out during pantry hours.

• This activity is fast-paced and physically demanding.
• Volunteers should be comfortable with standing, bending, and walking for extended periods of time.
• Volunteers should be comfortable with lifting at least 15-20 lbs for the entirety of the shift.
• Please know that closed toe shoes are required.
